The Election Commission (EC) has announced the schedule for the by-election in the Khammam-Warangal-Nalgonda Graduate MLC constituency. The position became vacant after the incumbent P Rajeshwar Reddy was elected as an MLA and resigned from the Legislative Council. The polling for the by-election will take place on May 27.
The notification for the by-election will be released on May 2, with the last date for nominations being May 9. The EC will scrutinize the nominations on May 10, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until May 13. The counting of votes is scheduled for June 5.
