    Election polling begins without incident in Maoist regions of Kothagudem

    Voting has started peacefully in 135 critical polling centers in Maoist-affected areas of Kothagudem district. There are 11 politically sensitive polling centers in the district, and the police are paying special attention to them.

    As per the Election Commission’s instructions, people in Maoist-affected areas can vote between 7am to 4pm.
