Resident Welfare Associations launch new campaign to increase voter participation
Text Size: 100%

In Hyderabad, members of Residential Welfare Associations (RWA) are working to increase voter turnout for the upcoming General elections by posting lists of polling booths in different residential areas on Sundays. This initiative is a collaboration with the United Federation of Resident Welfare Associations.

The lists are being displayed at local provision stores and banks, making it convenient for residents to find out where they need to go to vote. This is particularly helpful for those who did not receive their Voter Information Slips from GHMC.

By making this information easily accessible, the RWAs hope to encourage more residents to participate in the upcoming elections. This effort is aimed at increasing voter awareness and engagement in the democratic process.
