Swecha, a non-profit organization that supports free software and free knowledge movements, has launched a large internship program on Artificial Intelligence (AI) called ‘Summer of AI’. This program aims to train over 100,000 engineering students this summer in AI skills to prepare them for jobs. Additionally, the internship will help Swecha develop Telugu language-centric LLM.
The initiative is a collaboration between Swecha, IIIT Hyderabad, Ozonetel (a cloud communication solutions provider), Meta, and TASK.
The internship program will provide students with valuable hands-on experience in AI technology, preparing them for future employment opportunities. The goal is to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.
