Telangana PCC senior vice president G Niranjan strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his comments on the Mahalakshmi scheme, which provides free bus facilities to women in Telangana. Niranjan believes Modi should apologize to the women of Telangana for his remarks about the scheme causing losses to the metro rail system.

Niranjan pointed out that free bus travel for women is not limited to Hyderabad’s metro system but is available throughout the entire state. He highlighted that nearly 29 lakh women benefit from this service each day and expressed his belief that Modi’s comments demonstrate a lack of concern for the well-being of women.
