Election fever has started in Telangana, with political parties holding public meetings. The BRS party and Congress have already organized large-scale events in Khammam. Now it’s the BJP’s turn, with Amit Shah planning to visit the city.
The meeting in Khammam will be held under the name of BJP Bharosa. Amit Shah is expected to make announcements regarding guarantees for farmers. The BJP aims to gain power and will make important announcements at the event.
Amit Shah is likely to induct more than 22 key leaders from Congress and BRS into the BJP. Arrangements have been made for his arrival in Khammam, with water-proof sheds set up in the assembly premises.
Amit Shah will arrive at Gannavaram airport on Sunday and then proceed to Bhadrachalam. He will participate in an open meeting from 3.45 to 4.35. After that, he will have a core committee meeting with state BJP leaders from 4.45 to 5.30.
The BJP’s strategy is to gather at least one lakh people for the open meeting at Khammam Degree College ground. Thousands of RTC buses and other private vehicles have been arranged to mobilize people for the event. Parking arrangements have been made at 11 places.
BJP activists are working hard to ensure the meeting’s success.
