Health Minister T Harish Rao praised the BRS government for setting up dialysis centres in districts to help kidney patients in rural areas. The centres have made a big difference to the lives of patients who previously had limited access to dialysis facilities. Before this, people had to travel to Hyderabad, which was expensive and difficult. But now, there are 102 centres offering dialysis services across the state, including remote areas like SirpurKagaznagar and Eturunagaram. The government has also introduced single-use dialyzers to prevent infections and has provided financial support to patients through free bus passes, Asara pension, and dedicated dialysis centres.
