Kuruva Bhimanna, a resident of Chinna Tandrapad in Aiza mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district, died from an electric shock on Saturday evening. He was at an agricultural field around three o’clock when he tried to turn on an electricity transformer. Unfortunately, he didn’t realize that the copper foil of the air brake had been cut due to strong winds over the past two days, leading to his accidental death from electric shock.

After a few hours of being electrocuted, other farmers went to the neighboring farm transformer and became suspicious when Bhimanna didn’t return. His wife Lathamma and two sons are now mourning his loss. They are requesting support from the government as Bhimanna was the main supporter of the family. The villagers also expressed their sadness, highlighting that he was a good person.
