Farmer’s Day Celebrated in Nagarkurnool
Farmer’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) of Palem Agricultural Research Center in Bijnapally Mandal, Nagarkurnool district. The event included a special training program focused on integrated agriculture. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Coordinator of KVK, highlighted the importance of farmers adapting their agricultural methods to suit changing weather conditions.
To mark the occasion of National Farmer’s Day, a detailed and sustainable agriculture training session was held for the farmers. Experts also conducted additional sessions to explain the importance of allied sectors in agriculture. Scientists from KVK Palem shared valuable insights and raised awareness about effective farming practices and management techniques.
As part of the celebrations, outstanding farmers were recognized for their efforts and awarded for their contributions to the agricultural community. Around 60 farmers from various villages attended the program, making the event a meaningful and successful gathering.
