Farmers have been gathering in large numbers at Rythu Vedikas, PACS, and single-window centers across the district in search of urea. On Thursday, Mahabubnagar Superintendent of Police D. Janaki, IPS visited the Machanpally Rythu Vedika, a major urea distribution site, to assess security and distribution procedures.
SP Janaki urged farmers to contact officials directly for their urea needs, warning against using brokers or middlemen. She stated that the police would enforce strict actions against illegal hoarding or black marketing, ensuring that genuine farmers receive their necessary fertilizer without issues.
The police department is actively supervising stock points to prevent any wrongdoing. SP Janaki encouraged farmers to report any suspicious activities immediately. She also reviewed stock and distribution records at the Rythu Vedika, instructing authorities to maintain transparency and order, ensuring all farmers receive their urea without confusion.
