    Kakarla Jeevan Sai Kumar from Telangana achieved the 18th spot in the NEET-2025 exam, according to the results released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday. Sai Kumar was the top performer from his state. Five students from Telangana were among the top 100 ranks.

    Other students from Telangana in the top 100 were Shanmukha Nishanth Askhintala (37th), Mangari Varun (46th), Yandrapati Shanmukh (48th), and Bidisha Majee (95th).

    The NTA stated that out of 72,094 candidates registered from Telangana, 70,259 took the exam, and 41,584 qualified.

    In the top 25 female category, besides Bidisha Majee (95th), Brahmani Pendyala from Telangana secured the 108th rank. Mangari Varun was 48th on the NCL (OBC) central list.

    In the SC category’s top 10, Reddyamalla Sreeshanth got the 147th rank, while in the ST category, Banothu Dheeraj Kumar was ranked 1,178th.

    Nationwide, around 22,09,318 students appeared for the NEET-2025, with 12,36,531 qualifying. Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan was the national topper, followed by Utkarsh Awadhiya from Madhya Pradesh and Krishnang Joshi from Maharashtra. Avika Aggarwal from Delhi's National Capital Territory (NCT) was the top female performer.

    The NEET-2025 took place on May 4 across 5,468 centers in 552 cities, including 14 international locations, and was conducted in 13 languages.
