Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy hosted the first Telangana Gaddar Film Awards at Hitex on Saturday. The event dazzled with many movie stars and folk artists. The 2024 awards celebrated top performances in different categories. Several artists were also acknowledged for their contributions.
Actor Allu Arjun won the Best Leading Actor award for his role in Pushpa-2. Chief Minister Reddy presented the award alongside Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and TGFDC Chairman Dil Raju.
The NTR National Film Award went to Nandamuri Balakrishna. Mani Ratnam received the Paidi Jairaj Film Award. Nivetha Thomas was named Best Actress for her role in Chinna Katha Kadu, while Nag Ashwin took home the Best Director award for Kalki 2898 AD.
Chief Minister Reddy also awarded Kalki 2898 AD as the Best Feature Film. The Second Best Film award was given to Pottel, and Lucky Bhaskar secured the Third Best Film award. Razakar was honored as the Best Feature Film in the historical fiction category.
