A Qatar Airlines flight from Doha, Dubai to Nagpur had to make an emergency landing at Shamshabad Airport in Hyderabad. The reason for the diversion was the bad weather conditions in Nagpur due to heavy rains across the country.
Since it was not safe to land in Nagpur, the flight was redirected to Hyderabad and landed at Shamshabad airport. The 160 passengers on board were transferred to Novotel for accommodation. Officials mentioned that the flight will resume its journey to Nagpur once the weather improves and they receive the necessary flight clearances.
