    Former Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy visited an Oil Palm farm in Chityala village of Wanaparthy mandal. He praised Musti Baliswar for cultivating Oil Palm on a 5-acre plot and encouraged him to continue, as it is expected to bring good returns in the future.

    Reddy, along with ZP Chairman Loknath Reddy and other important people, congratulated Baliswar for not only planting oil palm saplings but also adopting intercrop cultivation by sowing groundnut. This allows him to enjoy double benefits.

    Reddy highlighted the importance of crop rotation and how it can bring significant benefits to farmers. He also mentioned that Oil Palm cultivation covers around 14,000 acres in Wanaparthy district. Furthermore, Telangana has become the leading state in oil palm cultivation nationwide, with over 2 lakh acres of land dedicated to it.
