Telangana Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy is facing a land grab case. The case was registered after tribals complained that their land had been encroached upon. The complaint was lodged by several people, including Bhikshapathi, at Samirpet police station. They alleged that Mallareddy had encroached upon 47 acres of tribal land in Kesavapuram of Triuchinthalapalli mandal. It is believed that the registration of the land was done overnight during the election. Samirpet police have registered a case and are currently investigating. Mallareddy has been charged under four sections.
