Adilabad: Former minister and BRS district president Jogu Ramanna has criticized Congress and BJP leaders for neglecting Adilabad’s development. He accused them of failing to secure funds for the district and ignoring the needs of the people. Speaking at a press conference in Adilabad on Saturday, Ramanna expressed disappointment over what he called poor governance.

Ramanna alleged that the current MLA has done little to drive progress in the district. He claimed the MLA has been inaugurating projects that were originally sanctioned during the BRS government’s tenure, rather than introducing new initiatives.

Highlighting stalled projects, Ramanna pointed to the incomplete railway overbridge and underbridge, which remain unfinished due to a lack of funding. He said contractors have abandoned these works, leaving critical infrastructure projects in limbo.

The former minister also criticized the MLA for failing to advance other key initiatives, such as the construction of the Collectorate building, IT Tower, BC Bhavan, Banjara Bhavan, and the Auditorium. According to Ramanna, these projects are still far from completion, reflecting poor leadership.

Additionally, Ramanna accused the MLA of holding repeated groundbreaking ceremonies for the same projects, such as the Jainath mini-stadium, without making any actual progress on the ground. He called for stronger efforts to ensure development in Adilabad.
