    In a meeting in Hyderabad, Telangana State Irrigation Minister Mr. Uttamkumar Reddy and other key ministers discussed the urgent need to finish the Mallamma Kunta Reservoir. This reservoir is crucial for providing water to farmers in the Tummilla Project in Alampur.

    The meeting included former Alampur MLAs, AICC Secretary Dr. SA Sampath Kumar, State Irrigation Board Government Adviser Adityanath, and State Irrigation Principal Secretary Rahul Bojja. They reviewed the project’s status and talked about why it needs to be completed quickly.

    Principal Secretary Rahul Bojja stressed how important the reservoir is for local farmers and why action needs to be taken fast. The meeting in Hyderabad aimed to address all aspects of finishing the project, including financial and logistical matters.

    Dr. SA Sampath Kumar, a strong supporter of farmers’ rights, promised to make sure the reservoir gets finished. He emphasized the vital need for water to help farmers grow their crops and vowed to support them in getting the resources they need.

    Former chairman of the RDS of the region, G. Sitarama Reddy, thanked Dr. SA Sampath Kumar and Mr. Uttamkumar Reddy for supporting the farmers. The meeting ended with everyone agreeing on the importance of completing the Mallamma Kunta Reservoir quickly for the sustainable growth of agriculture in Alampur.
