Telangana senior leader G Vivekanand has resigned from the BJP. He sent his resignation letter to the BJP state party unit president, G Kishan Reddy. It is expected that Vivekanand will join the Congress and meet with AICC senior leader Rahul Gandhi, who is currently visiting Telangana. TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy is making arrangements for Vivekanand to join the Congress in the presence of Rahul Gandhi during his visit to Mahbubnagar. Prior to his resignation, Vivekanand spoke with AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, who invited him to join the Congress and promised him a prominent position in the party. Vivekanand, a farmer MP, hopes to compete in the Peddapally Lok Sabha segment in the 2024 General Elections.
