Former Sarpanches Protest Pending Bills
In Gadwal, former sarpanches across the State organized protests demanding the release of long-pending bills. As part of their movement, they planned a “Chalo Assembly Siege” on Monday.
Ahead of the protest, Basu Hanumanthu Naidu, the former president of the Gattu Mandal Sarpanch Association, faced restrictions. Police placed Naidu under house arrest at his residence in Gadwal.

Naidu had been preparing to travel to Hyderabad to join the assembly siege. However, authorities detained him at home to prevent his participation in the protest.
