    Wanaparthy Witnesses Inauguration of Development Projects Worth ₹136 Crore

    Excise Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao laid the foundation stone for several development works in Wanaparthy district on Sunday. The projects, worth ₹136 crore, aim to enhance infrastructure and provide better facilities to the residents of the district.

    Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao was joined by MP Dr. Mallu Ravi, local MLA Thudi Megha Reddy, and District Collector Adarsh Surabhi at the event. One of the key projects initiated was the construction of a high-level bridge at Mojsar, located 3 kilometers from Pedda Mandadi mandal center on National Highway 44. The bridge has an estimated cost of ₹6 crore.

    In addition, foundation stones were laid for a 5 lakh-litre overhead water tank in Wanaparthy town, costing ₹1.76 crore. Development of CC roads in Indira Colony’s wards 5, 18, 19, 20, and 21 was also announced, with an estimated budget of ₹50 crore.

    Under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme, water supply development works for Wanaparthy town began in Budha Jangala Colony, with a total investment of ₹70 crore. A women’s hostel building, constructed with a budget of ₹4 crore, was inaugurated near Marrikunta Medical College. Additionally, foundation stones were laid for a Women’s Federation building costing ₹5 crore in the same area.

    The town’s library also received attention, as work for a new floor and modern toilet facilities began with a budget of ₹1.10 crore. These upgrades aim to improve public resources for the town’s residents and students.

    Speaking to the media at the library office, Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao expressed concerns that the goals for which Telangana was formed have not been fully realized in the past decade.

    MP Mallu Ravi expressed his happiness over the launch of these development projects. He also announced that a mega loan mela would be held on December 21 at the Government Polytechnic College ground. During this event, MSME loans worth ₹200 crore will be distributed to beneficiaries by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

    In addition, Mallu Ravi shared plans for a mega job mela, which will be organized under the leadership of Kapilavayi Dilip. This initiative aims to provide employment opportunities for the unemployed in the region.

    These development projects and initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and creating opportunities for the people of Wanaparthy.
