    Today is the Education Day celebration in the decade celebrations.

    Hyderabad, June 19 (Namaste Telangana): As part of the decade celebrations, the government is conducting Education Day celebrations today. On this occasion, they will distribute ragi java to students along with singing competitions, the beginning of reading corners, and distribution of books. They will start a program today to provide 250 milliliters of ragi java to 25,26,907 students in the state. As part of the “Our Village-Our School” program, they will start distributing modernized mid-day meals. They will distribute workbooks to three students from grades one to five and notebooks to one subject from grades six to ten. They will distribute tablets to 19,800 primary schools. They will start digital classes in 4,800 digital classrooms in 1,600 schools. They will distribute textbooks to 30 lakh students. They will start reading corners in 5th level schools.

    From this academic year, they have introduced English medium from the 9th grade. They have expanded 245 schools to intermediate among the 475 schools in the state. They are conducting 467 centers for disabled children, providing scholarships of Rs. 3,500 to their mothers and Rs. 2 per girl child. The government has approved 12 new polytechnic colleges and built separate buildings for 15 colleges and 22 hostels. They have regularized 3,997 employees in the education department. After 2014, they have established 15 new degree colleges. They have started digital on-screen evaluation from this academic year. They have established new universities for women, horticulture, forest, and veterinary sciences. In residential schools, 930 teachers have been trained as doctors and 1,517 as engineers. Muslim girls’ school is among the top two positions in the state in national standings, and the school is in the top three positions in the school rankings.
