Hussain Sagar reservoir in Hyderabad is full from heavy rain, causing water to flood in. The water level is at 513 feet, just below the full capacity of 514 feet. Officials are warning people in low-lying areas to stay alert.

Excess rainwater is also flowing into the reservoir from Bulkapur canals, leading to more flooding. Authorities have opened the gates of Hussain Sagar reservoir to release extra water downstream.

GHMC officials are monitoring the situation and are ready to act if the water level keeps rising. Residents in flood-prone areas like Kavadiguda have been advised to be careful in the next 24 hours. It’s important for everyone to stay informed and follow safety instructions during this period of heavy rainfall and flooding.
