Excess rainwater is also flowing into the reservoir from Bulkapur canals, leading to more flooding. Authorities have opened the gates of Hussain Sagar reservoir to release extra water downstream.

GHMC officials are monitoring the situation and are ready to act if the water level keeps rising. Residents in flood-prone areas like Kavadiguda have been advised to be careful in the next 24 hours.
