Mancherial: Minister Gaddam Vivekananda emphasized the need to focus on developing Chennur constituency. During a review meeting in Naspur on Monday, he was joined by Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna, District Collector Kumar Deepak, and others.
The Minister stressed careful distribution of urea for agriculture. He urged officials to ensure farmers, including both patta holders and tenants, receive their share as planned. He assured that there will be enough urea for farming needs and that its distribution will be closely monitored.
For farmers affected by recent heavy rains causing waterlogging, compensation will be provided according to regulations. To support agricultural mechanization, 1,179 units of farming equipment have been allocated to Chennur, making farming easier.
Vivekananda promised sufficient urea supply throughout the entire crop season, ensuring farmers don’t face shortages. He pushed for quick completion of road and internal CC road construction in villages, emphasizing the need for necessary permissions from the Forest Department. Any permission issues should be reported to him immediately.
Development projects under the Amrut 2.0 scheme should be expedited, with particular focus on water supply improvements. The primary health center in Bhimaram mandal is now ready. The Minister instructed officials to prepare for its inauguration and ensure appointment of medical staff in government hospitals and centers.
From September 17 to October 2, special medical camps focusing on women’s health will be held. District Medical Health Officer Dr. Anita and other medical officers launched wall posters for the “Healthy Woman – Powerful Family Programme.” A total of 91 medical camps will be organized over 13 days in the district.
