Gadwal: A significant meeting took place at the TJS office in Gadwal to support Justice Sudarshan Reddy for the Vice President role of India. Organized by the Akhilapaksha Committee and various community groups, the event ended with strong agreements.

The meeting was led by community leader Nagardoddi Venkatramulu and Md. Iqbal Pasha from the Palamuru Study Forum. Abdul Babu, the president of the District Pensioners’ Association, presided over the event.

The meeting adopted several resolutions:

  1. Endorse Justice Sudarshan Reddy for Vice President. Known for his support of marginalized communities and as an esteemed Supreme Court judge, Justice Reddy was praised as an ideal candidate.

  2. Challenge corporate forces and defend democracy. Attendees stressed that elected officials must choose between corporate influence and the people who elected them.

  3. Encourage local MPs to support. Members of Parliament from the undivided Mahbubnagar district were urged to back Justice Reddy, promoting secular and democratic values.

The meeting ended at 7:00 PM with a thank-you note from Prabhakar Shastri.

The resolutions show a growing support among organizations and democratic advocates nationwide, seeing Justice Sudarshan Reddy as embodying the integrity needed for the Vice President role.
