Gadwal: T. Srinivasa Rao, the District Superintendent of Police, honored a retiring officer and recognized another for promotion in a ceremony on Saturday, emphasizing the importance of dedication and responsibility in the police force.
In his office, the SP celebrated Sub-Inspector Ravula Bala Kishtaiah for nearly 36 years of service. Bala Kishtaiah started as a constable in 1989, advancing to Head Constable, Assistant Sub-Inspector, and finally Sub-Inspector, serving most recently at the CCS Police Station in Gadwal.
The SP praised Bala Kishtaiah’s dedication, stating, “His retirement is a significant loss for us. His invaluable services will be remembered. We will ensure all his retirement benefits are promptly provided, and I wish him a fulfilling life with his family.”
In another event, V. Venkateshwar Reddy received congratulations for his promotion from Assistant Sub-Inspector to Sub-Inspector at the Gadwal Rural Police Station. The SP personally awarded him the SI insignia, emphasizing that promotions bring increased responsibility.
“Promotions mean more responsibility. Officers must perform their duties with integrity to earn public trust and respect,” the SP added.
The ceremonies were attended by AO Satish, CCS Inspector Nageshwar Reddy, staff from the CCS Police Station, district police personnel, and the family of the retiring officer.
