Wanaparthy: The Ganesh Utsav Committee has decided, after discussions with Vedic scholars, that the immersion and processions will take place only on the sixth and tenth days. These events will include cultural programs and traditional activities, according to Superintendent Police Ravula Giridhar.

In many towns and villages across the district, numerous mandapams have been established for Ganesh Chaturthi. Devotees have engaged in celebrations with devotion and discipline from the start of the festival, organizing a variety of events. The festival concludes with the immersion ceremony.
