Hyderabad is gearing up to host the prestigious Miss World competition at Gachibowli Stadium, and city officials are making sure everything is in top shape ahead of the event.
RV Karnan, Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), visited the stadium on Friday to review the ongoing preparations. He was joined by Zonal Commissioner Hemanth Sahadev Rao, Advertisement and Audition Commissioner Venugopal Reddy, DC Prashanthi, and other senior officials.
Karnan stressed the importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness in and around the venue. He ordered sanitation teams to step up efforts by deploying more workers and ensuring regular cleaning to keep the surroundings spotless during the event.
In addition to sanitation, the Commissioner also focused on promotion. He instructed the advertising team to place banners and posters around the stadium and nearby areas. The goal is to inform the public about the event and create a festive atmosphere.
With these steps in motion, GHMC is working to ensure that Hyderabad presents a welcoming and world-class experience for the Miss World contestants and visitors.
