GHMC has begun offering environmentally friendly clay Ganesh idols for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and Commissioner R.V. Karnan handed out these idols at the GHMC Head Office.
On August 25-26, people can collect 2 lakh clay idols from GHMC Ward Offices. Alongside, GHMC is also distributing eco-friendly clay pots and diyas crafted from recycled materials.
Details about immersion arrangements and pond locations will be released soon. GHMC encourages everyone to celebrate with clay idols, honoring both Lord Ganesha and the environment.
