Gold and Silver Prices Drop Sharply in Indian Markets

Gold prices have fallen significantly in the Indian market, with 24-carat gold declining by ₹1,420 per 10 grams to reach the current price of ₹1,51,750. Similarly, 22-carat gold has dropped by ₹1,300 per 10 grams, now trading at ₹1,39,100. The precious metal has witnessed a notable correction after maintaining elevated levels in recent weeks.

Silver prices have experienced an even more dramatic fall, with the white metal dropping by ₹20,000 per kilogram. After reaching an all-time high of ₹4 lakh per kilogram, silver has now retreated to ₹2.80 lakh per kilogram. This sharp decline represents a significant correction from the peak levels witnessed earlier.

The sudden price drops have created panic among investors who had purchased precious metals at higher rates.
