Gold Stolen in Broad Daylight: 6 Tulas Snatched from Bike in Ieeja

A shocking theft took place in broad daylight in Ieeja town when thieves stole 6 tulas of gold from a parked bike. The incident happened near Keerthi Shopping Mall, in front of Mitra Fertilizer Shop, around 12:30 PM.

According to the complaint filed by the victim, G. Veeresh, he had withdrawn his pledged gold from the Union Bank in Ieeja at around 10:30 AM. After paying the required interest, he collected the gold, which weighed 6 tulas.

Veeresh placed the gold and the bank receipt inside a cover and secured it in the fuel tank of his bike. However, when he returned, he discovered that the gold was missing. The theft has left locals shocked, and the police are investigating the incident.
