Mahabubabad: A goods train derailed near Kesamudram in Mahabubabad district. The goods train was traveling from Vijayawada to Kajipet via Kesamudram-Intikanne railway stations when it derailed. As a result, the goods guard’s coach and another coach got detached, causing the engine to derail.

Fortunately, the guard immediately informed the loco pilot. After traveling a few kilometers, the loco pilot stopped the train. He then disconnected the affected coach and continued the journey.
