The Telangana government plans to hire more specialist doctors for the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad. They have announced that they will fill 1,623 new positions. Health Minister C Damodar Raja Narsimha instructed the Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) to open this recruitment.
This move will increase the number of specialists in hospitals managed by the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP). It will enhance medical services in district hospitals, area hospitals, and community health centers. People in rural areas will have better access to specialty medical care.
Previously, the government filled about 8,000 health department jobs. They are also working on hiring for another 7,000 positions. Interested candidates can apply online through the Board’s website (https://mhsrb.telangana.gov.in) for roles such as Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialists and Medical Officer Specialists.
The online application process starts on September 8, 2025. The deadline to apply is 5 PM on September 22, 2025. Applicants can make changes to their submissions from 10:30 AM on September 23, 2025 to 5 PM on September 24, 2025. Only online applications will be considered. Those applying for multiple positions must submit separate applications for each.
