The state government has decided to postpone changing the state emblem due to objections and legal requirements. A new design will be considered after the Formation Day celebrations on June 2. Artists have submitted around 500 designs for the new emblem, but a final decision is still pending. The Telangana Talli statue is also under discussion.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced two versions of the state song, one lasting 2.30 minutes and the other 13.30 minutes. The shorter version will be played at official government events. The government approved the song, which reflects the struggle for Telangana, after receiving input from stakeholders in a meeting attended by various officials.

Noted poet Andesri confirmed that the song, written 20 years ago, was accepted without changes. Some parties requested a mention of poet Makhdoom Mohiuddin, which the Chief Minister agreed to incorporate. Oscar winner MM Keeravani composed and sang the state song.
