    Government cracking down on illegal practices by RMPs and quacks

    The Telangana State Medical Council is cracking down on illegal hospitals and doctors in the state. These include rural medical practitioners, private medical practitioners, and other unqualified individuals who are putting patients at risk. Some of these unqualified doctors have been found performing abortions and giving treatments they are not qualified for, such as allopathy.

    Recently, health task force and anti-quackery teams raided primary health centers, hospitals, and physiotherapy centers, uncovering several irregularities. The State Medical Council is taking action against these illegal practices to protect the health and safety of the people.

    In addition to illegal doctors, unqualified pharmacists are also operating medical stores in the state. There have been instances of failed students obtaining pharmacy certificates, raising concerns about the officials’ negligence in issuing these certificates.

    The Telangana State Drug Control Administration conducted raids on clinics operated by quacks in different locations. Medicines were seized from these clinics, and actions were taken against those operating them illegally. The authorities are working to ensure that only qualified professionals provide medical care to the people in the state.
