Hyderabad: On Friday, BRS working president KT Rama Rao stated that the central government has disproven claims made by leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy about KCR‘s alleged heavy debts. He mentioned that the Modi-led central government confirmed that the KCR government only accumulated Rs 2.80 lakh crore in debt over ten years.
Rama Rao launched the book ‘Praja Yodhudu’ (People’s Warrior) by Mahendra Thotakuri at Telangana Bhavan. He highlighted the timing of the book release on Independence Day as a meaningful gift to Telangana and KCR. Criticizing Congress leaders for their debt-related accusations, he argued that they are tarnishing KCR’s image due to their own inability to govern and meet promises. He urged party members to share the central government’s figures with the public.
Rama Rao addressed those questioning KCR‘s contributions to Telangana, reminding them of the past oppressive conditions 25 years ago. He cautioned against assuming that forming a political party would succeed if Chandrababu, a known opponent of Telangana, were to influence the central government.
