    Financial Support for Women’s Groups

During the event, Minister Seethakka distributed interest-free loans to women’s groups as part of the Mahila Shakti Scheme. She emphasized the government’s determination to support women in achieving success across all fields.

The Minister highlighted that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has mandated the disbursement of Rs 20,000 crore in interest-free loans to women’s groups. Support for Farmers and Criticism of BJP

Seethakka contrasted the current government’s efforts with those of the previous BRS administration. She noted that while the BRS government provided Rs 30,000 crore in loans to farmers without waiving any debt, the Congress-led government under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has already waived Rs 21,000 crore in farmer loans. Additionally, the Congress government is offering a Rs 500 bonus on paddy to small farmers.

She criticized the BJP government at the Centre for failing to provide minimum support prices to farmers and accused it of not waiving any loans for them, unlike the Congress government in Telangana.

The Minister expressed pride in the achievements of women’s groups in the region. These groups are set to receive awards soon.

Seethakka also praised women from the joint Adilabad district for selling their products at a stall in Shilparamam, Hyderabad, and encouraged more women to pursue business opportunities to support their families and contribute to the state’s development.

    Government Initiatives and Promises

Seethakka assured that the government is fulfilling its promises, such as providing Indiramma houses to 3,500 women per constituency. She emphasized that these houses are being allocated only to genuine beneficiaries.

Later, the Minister inaugurated a newly sanctioned 108 ambulance for Khanapur and a Gram Panchayat office in Sattenapalli village, constructed with Rs 18 lakh under the Employment Guarantee Scheme.

    Officials and Leaders Present

Several officials and Congress party members attended the event, including SP Dr. Janaki Sharmila, Additional SP Upender Reddy, RDO Ratna Kalyani, DRDO OPD Vijayalakshmi, DFO Nagini Bhanu, Sub DFO Bhavani Shankar, Tehsildar Shivraj, MPDO Sunitha, and FRO Kiran Kumar.
