The organisers had earlier submitted a formal request to the government for assistance. Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui, one of the event organisers, stressed in a letter the need for government support to handle the large number of attendees, which will include families from diverse regions and backgrounds.

For the event to run smoothly, different government departments have been given specific tasks. The police will manage security and crowd control, while the Fire Safety department will handle fire prevention and emergency measures. The Municipal Administration department will ensure proper sanitation, waste management, and infrastructure. The electricity department will provide uninterrupted power, and the water supply board will ensure continuous water availability. The State Road Transport Corporation will arrange for transportation to help attendees reach the venue easily.
