Khanapur MLA Vedum Bojju Patel announced that the goal of providing homes for the poor in the Khanapur constituency is set to be achieved. He highlighted that the Indiramma Housing Scheme, initiated by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is designed to make this dream a reality.
The MLA promised that every deserving family without a home will receive one through this program. On Monday, at an event in Utnoor Mandal headquarters in the Adilabad district, MLA Vedum Bojju Patel, alongside ITDA PO Khushboo Gupta and Sub-Collector Yuvaraj Marmat, handed out sanction letters for homes to 980 beneficiaries.
He mentioned that the process of identifying all homeless individuals in the area will happen in stages, ensuring everyone gets a home. Patel urged those who have not received their letters yet to stay calm. The government will include them in future phases. He advised these individuals to register at local MPDO offices. The MLA assured the community that the selection process will be transparent, warning against corruption. He encouraged reporting any demands for money to him, the PO, or the Sub-Collector, promising strict action against offenders.
Patel also asked Indiramma Committee members to help officials correctly identify eligible families to avoid mistakes. The event saw the participation of committee members and Congress party leaders.
