Hyderabad Metro to Expand Towards Medchal and Shamirpet

Residents of Hyderabad North City received exciting news as the Telangana government announced plans to extend the metro rail network to Medchal and Shamirpet. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to begin work on detailed project reports (DPRs) for two new metro corridors as part of a major expansion effort.

The Chief Minister has emphasized the need to complete the DPRs quickly. These reports will be included in Phase-2B of the metro rail project and submitted to the central government for approval.

1. Extending the metro line from Paradise to Medchal.
2. Extending the metro line from Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) to Shamirpet.
