Governor and Chief Minister extend Ugadi greetings to the people

Hyderabad: On Sunday, Governor Jishnu Dev Verma and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy wished people well on the occasion of Viswavasu Nama Ugadi, which marks the start of the Telugu New Year.

The Governor shared a message saying that Ugadi is a festival of joy and hope. He hoped that the New Year would bring blessings, prosperity, and happiness to everyone. He also encouraged people to welcome the New Year with optimism, just like the traditional Ugadi Pachchadi, which includes a mix of different tastes representing life’s ups and downs.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also extended his greetings and wished that everyone’s dreams come true in the new year. He hoped for good fortune, plenty of rain, and rich harvests to bring happiness to farmers.

To mark the occasion, the Chief Minister announced the launch of the “Fine Rice” distribution scheme. Under this program, every family with a white ration card will receive fine rice starting from Ugadi day.

He also expressed hope that Telangana will grow strongly in all areas and become a role model for the entire country in implementing welfare programs. The Chief Minister urged everyone to celebrate Ugadi with joy and to take pride in Telangana’s culture and traditions.
