Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will start a new rice distribution program in Huzurnagar on March 30, which falls on the Ugadi festival. This announcement was made by Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy during a meeting in Nereducharla on Saturday.

Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy said the program is an important step for the Congress government and a great welfare scheme for the people. He explained that his main goal is to improve the public distribution system so that more people benefit from it.

The minister said the scheme will begin in Huzurnagar and will be treated as a prestigious project for the state. Under this program, people will receive fine quality rice for free through ration shops. So far, 2.81 lakh people are receiving benefits, but that number will increase to 3.10 lakh.
