Hyderabad: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma has sent his warm wishes to everyone celebrating the Bonalu festival.
On Sunday, he expressed his heartfelt greetings to the people of Telangana for the special occasion of Bonalu, the state festival. He highlighted that Bonalu showcases the unique culture of Telangana, its diverse lifestyle, and the worship of Yellamma (Mahankali Matha), the goddess associated with nature and the environment.
Governor Varma prayed to goddess Yellamma, hoping she brings health, well-being, peace, and progress to all people in India and Telangana during this festive time.
