    The Lord Rama temple in Bhadrachalam has been busy with Sri Rama Navami celebrations for the past week. The festivities started on April 9 and will end on April 23.

    During the celebrations, traditional rituals like Anukurapana, Dwajapata Lekhanam, and Garudhadivanam were performed by the priests on Monday. The upcoming events include the celestial wedding, Pattabhishekam, and Chakra-Snanam on April 17, 18, and 23 respectively.

    The celestial wedding, a highlight of the Bramothsavam, is overseen by KE Stala Sai, the main priest of the temple. Other chief priests like Podicheti Sitaramacharyulu and Amaravadhi Vijaya Raghavan also play important roles in the rituals.

    Priest Koti Srimannarayana Charylu acts as Acharya, while Amaravadhi Gopala Brahma Krishnamacharyulu serves as Brahma in the celestial wedding. The event will take place at the Mithila Stadium near the temple on Wednesday.

    The Ruthiviks support the priests to ensure the smooth execution of the Kalyanam ceremony.
