A reunion event was recently held for former students of the Government Model Basic Upper Primary School in Mahabubnagar. The event was organized by the headmaster, M.A. Basit. After 34 years, the 10th grade batch of 1989-1990 came together once again.
At the event, the students honored their former teachers, including Krishnaiah, Madhusudan Rao, Balreddy, Siddanna, Raghavendra Charry, Suvarna Latha, Bhanumurthy, and PET Hamid. The teachers shared their pride in the students’ achievements over the years and advised them to always remember their mother tongue and their school.
Around 150 former students attended the reunion, with some traveling from abroad to be there. They were filled with joy to see their old friends after so many years. The students expressed their deep gratitude to the teachers who had guided them and said they would always treasure the memories of their school days.
