Hyderabad: On Wednesday, Group-I hopefuls visited Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao at his Tarnaka home. This meeting followed the High Court’s key decision to reassess the Group-I exam papers by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC). The candidates felt pleased with the judgment, crediting the BJP’s relentless effort in highlighting the examination issues and pushing for fairness.
The candidates personally thanked Rao for the party’s consistent backing. They highlighted that the ruling was not only a legal success but also a moral triumph for many unemployed youths affected by the flawed exam system.
Rao spoke to the media, describing the High Court’s decision as a strong rebuke to the state government. He criticized both the former BRS regime and the current Congress leadership for ongoing mismanagement. “The TGPSC’s processes, from notification to evaluation, have been flawed. The BJP has supported the students and will continue to advocate for their rights,” he stated.
The court ruling followed extensive claims of confusion and irregularities during the Group-I Mains exam. The BJP frequently voiced concerns about paper leaks, procedural errors, and a lack of openness in recruitment under both BRS and Congress rule. Rao condemned the state’s recruitment handling, labeling its negligence a “curse” for many job seekers. He noted that the verdict marks a step towards justice and responsibility, especially for those unfairly impacted by the system. The BJP pledged to keep supporting deserving candidates until they receive what they rightly deserve.
