Hyderabad: On Saturday, BRS MLA and former minister T Harish Rao visited party leader and former chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at his farmhouse in Erravalli. Harish Rao went there shortly after returning to Hyderabad from a personal trip to the UK.
At the farmhouse, KCR and BRS working president KT Rama Rao had a meeting with Harish Rao. They discussed the state government’s request for a CBI investigation into the Kaleshwaram project. They also talked about the harsh comments from suspended BRS leader K Kavitha.
Earlier at the airport, Harish Rao spoke to reporters. He said he would let his cousin K Kavitha’s allegations against him speak for themselves. “My 25 years in politics are well-known to the people of Telangana. She repeated what some parties have been saying about me. Why she did this, only she knows,” said Harish Rao, who is the nephew of BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Harish Rao emphasized his commitment to achieving Telangana’s statehood and its development under KCR’s leadership. He accused the Congress government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of “destroying the systems” established during KCR’s decade-long rule. Harish Rao pledged to focus on “saving the state” and work with other BRS leaders to regain power and address public concerns.
