T Harish Rao, a senior leader of BRS, expressed concerns about the ongoing agitation by students and the unemployed in the state. He emphasized the importance of the government addressing their issues and invited candidates for discussions to understand their pain in an ‘open letter’ to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Rao criticized the government for not showing concern for the unemployed and stated that making provocative comments without addressing their problems empathetically is inappropriate for a CM. He also criticized Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka for offering condolences without providing concrete solutions.

He condemned the actions of the CM, ministers, and the administration for labeling students advocating for employment solutions as anti-social elements. Rao found actions like deploying police, erecting fences, making preventive arrests, and threatening journalists exposing the plight of the unemployed as undemocratic and reprehensible, demanding the release of all arrested persons.

The BRS leader refuted the CM’s claim that political forces were behind the agitation of the unemployed and reminded him of the promises made during elections. He urged the CM to address issues without a political bias and fulfill the promises made to the people.
