Heavy Rainfall in Hyderabad: Flooding Submerges Low-Lying Areas

Hyderabad: Several areas of the city have experienced heavy rainfall today, affecting key locations such as Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Film Nagar, and Panjagutta. Other places like Ameerpet, Kondapur, Kottagudem, and Miyapur also saw intense rain.

The downpour has caused flooding in many low-lying areas, making residents concerned about their safety. Along with the rain, rising temperatures and humidity have added to the discomfort. Authorities are urging people to be cautious.

In response to the situation, the government has activated emergency services. People are being advised to stay in safe areas and avoid places that are flooded. The East Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has warned that more rain could be on the way.

Traffic disruptions have also been reported, especially on major roads, which has affected the delivery of essential supplies. The government is closely monitoring the situation and will take further action if needed.
