Telangana is experiencing heavy rains, especially in Hyderabad, which has caused serious flooding. Water levels in the Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar reservoirs have risen significantly. The Musi River is now at a dangerous level, leading officials to open the gates of these two reservoirs. At present, they have opened 10 gates, releasing 8,300 cusecs of water into the river, which is now flowing at risky levels.

Due to the flood, the Narsingh ORR service road and all entry and exit points to the Outer Ring Road (ORR) are closed. Traffic police are advising drivers to use different routes. Traffic between Manchirevu and Narsingh has been stopped.

Flooding has also impacted areas near the Manchirevula Bridge, leading to the closure of the route between Jiyaguda and Puranapule. Water levels are now 100 feet above the Jiyaguda road. Vehicles heading towards Puranapule and the High Court are being rerouted from the caravan path. Authorities are watching the situation carefully as they work to control the flooding.
