Traffic Advisory Issued to Manage Congestion on National Highway-65

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police have issued a traffic advisory to manage heavy traffic on National Highway-65. This advisory comes as travelers from Hyderabad head to their native places in Andhra Pradesh and other regions, leading to increased congestion on the highway.

To ease the traffic, heavy vehicles have been given alternate routes. These include the Outer Ring Road (ORR) Ghatkesar Exit – Bhongir – Valigonda – Ramannapet – Chityala Junction, and the ORR Bongulur Exit – Nagarjuna Sagar Highway – Ibrahimpatnam – Haliya – Miryalguda – Kodad. These diversions aim to reduce congestion on the main highway.

Motorists traveling from areas like KPHB and Miyapur have been advised to use the ORR to bypass traffic-heavy locations such as LB Nagar and Vanasthalipuram. This will help them avoid delays and ensure smoother travel.

The police have also urged commuters to plan their journeys in advance. Travelers are advised to avoid peak traffic hours, ensure their FASTags are functional for seamless toll gate passage, check traffic updates before starting their trip, and follow all traffic rules. Additionally, they are encouraged to make sure their vehicles are in good condition and take adequate rest during long trips.

To assist commuters, the Rachakonda traffic police have deployed officers at key locations near Hyderabad. For further help, citizens can contact the traffic control room at 8712662999 or the social media control room at 8712662111.
